Common side effects during the first 3-5 days may includes nausea vomiting, cramps, abdominal discomfort and bloating, although following the gradual post procedure diet protocol and taking some medications during the 1st week will minimize these side effects, although less than 5% may not tolerate the balloon at all, and may requires early endoscopic removal
